Nokia Qt 认证考试

牢骚一下：年前借着免费的机会 ，在两科Qt Specialized Exams 处于beta阶段时通过了考试，两个月前收到邮件，说证书3月底寄出

To keep you all up-to-date, we'd like to inform you that a draft of the certificate has already been created and sent to our designer, and we have decided to sign up an additional printing house to print and send certificates.

We currently estimate that your certificates will be sent out in March. 

前几天又收到邮件，说必须通过essentials exam才行

Our records show that you've passed one of the specialized exams in beta, but haven't passed the Qt Essentials Exam, which you also need to pass in order to become a "Nokia Certified Qt Specialist".

If you have passed both Specialized Exams, you should not have any trouble passing the Qt Essentials Exam.

郁闷的是，尽管给了50%的折扣，可还是要支付欧元。可是偶没有支持visa的信用卡。

Qt 认证考试

考试分两类(基础、专业？)：

• Qt Essentials Exam
• Qt Specialized Exams

按照官方认证流程：

通过 Essentials Exam	==>	Nokia Certified Qt Developer
通过 Essentials Exam 和至少一个Specialized Exams	==>	Nokia Certified Qt Specialist

Specialized Exams 认证当前已经正式推出两个：

• Widget UI with Qt (就是 Advanced Widget UI beta 的正式版)
• Core C++ for Qt Developers (就是 Qualified in C++ with Qt beta的正式版)

考试准备

按照官方说法：实践是最关键的因素。

Qt Essentials Exam

• 至少 6-12 个月经常使用 Qt 的开发经验
• 不建议参加培训

• 考试范围：Curriculum Block

Widget UI with Qt

• 至少 3 年 part time 或 1.5 年 full time 下列开发经验：

  • Qt UI 开发
  • 复杂的程序逻辑
  • 多线程
  • 自定义UI元素和风格

• 考试范围：Curriculum Block

Core C++ for Qt Developers

• 3 年以上的 C++ 的part time 经验 和 至少1年Qt的开发经验

• 考试范围：Curriculum Block

考试费用

• 每科考试是 89 欧元(国内的价格，但需要visa支付，真的挺郁闷)
• 现阶段为庆祝前面的两个beta转正，3科考试都有30%的折扣(截止2011年7月底)
• 教育或参与Qt相关活动的可以有其他折扣(似乎对外提供的最大折扣也就是5折)
